In 1972, the French unveiled what they claimed was the sum total of all collected automotive knowledge up to that point: The Renault 12. After all, Renault (curiously pronounced Ren-ALT by the announcer here) has been making cars since 1899. Clearly, they can do a better job than anyone else!

We thought Panama to Alaska in an elderly Aston Martin was pretty impressive… but that was before we found out about these two Argentinians driving their '81 Renault 12 from Argentina to Alaska!
