    The first movie was bad, and unless this is being made as some sort of parody of the first, I don't think this one will be any better. In fact, I see it being made more specifically to appeal to the Fox News watching jingoists in an attempt to profit from (and rile up) rightwingers. Sad, really. #reddawn

    @weatherman: Are you serious? The first one was pure awesome. I am not sure what more you want out of a movie, Charlie Sheen, Patrick Swayze, Communists, stuff blowing up, kids saving America. And I pretty darn liberal too. Not only that but I can't wait to see this version of it. If you say the original Iron Eagle was bad too, then I will know you are just crazy. #reddawn

    Oh HA HA HA! Yeah, we get it. Detroit is a total and complete shit hole populated by only gang-bangers and thugs. It is perfect setting for this movie because it already looks like a war zone. HA HA HA! That is so funny! Wow! How very creative these comments are!

    Why yes, as a matter of fact, we Michiganders should just give up and completely demolish Detroit. It so obviously has no redeeming qualities whatsoever, and can never be restored no matter how hard we try.

    As I recall, back in the day Red Dawn was decried as being the most violent movie ever made, more deaths per minute than anything that came before.

    That shot the rentals score clean through the roof. And truth to tell, I kinda liked it. Charlie Sheen getting whacked at the end just sorta tied it all together for me. #reddawn

    I think the directors don't really understand the whole concept of Red Dawn. Basically, the invaders are supposed to invade somewhere that would actually be worse off if it were destroyed. As it is now, leveling Detroit would actually be doing us a favor. And while Chinese are at it, we might as well let them demolish Chicago too. #reddawn
