    Sure, video of tentative lap.

    There's an alleged Mika Hakkinen 7:11 time in either LMXP1 or an F1 GTR, and an alleged 7:45 time in a regular F1. But alas no organized run; I assume an F1 LM would do rather well.

    @leavethegun-takethecannoli: Each ring on the g-meter in the corner represents one G. It goes way past the first ring in the corners.

    On a related note, those tires may be legal in Europe, but I don't think they fly in the states. The lotus exige S comes from the factory with tires like that. The only person I've ever met with one says he only used the factory tires at the track.

    IIRC, slicks are legal in Ohio. I remember reading this in C&D just under an age ago. They tested an open wheeled car which was street-legal...in OH. It may have had ultra-slim fenders, I don't remember.

    That's impressive especially considering the car pretty much tops out in the range of 260-270km/h on the straight.

    That said, it may be street-legal, but to call this thing a road car is quite a stretch. This thing is far closer to LM cars than it is a GT-R, Corvette or even more exotic cars like the Porsche GT or Ferrari FXX. Hence the insane lap time.
