I had no idea Johnson Controls was into this; my father worked for them from the 50s on and they started out as heating/ac going head to head against Honeywell, which used to be the two most common names you saw on thermostats. They went on to complex systems to control climate, security etc. Given the number of JC vans and trucks you see on the road, they shouldn't have any trouble with roadside assistance once they get this thing out on the road.
I'm really impressed. Looks like they have seriously evaluated many different issues that loss of petroleum resources are going to bring, and are putting forward viable alternatives. Plus, it looks pretty darned sharp as well! Good job JCI!!
