    Wooooah, #3 suggests you were stood right next to me Peter! That was at the startline during the supercar run on Sunday right?


    The supercars were pretty boring to be honest, incredibly quiet (except for the Zonda R) and really non-descript. After seeing a 917/30 do a fullbore start, most things are boring and quiet though.

    @nstrug: Actually, that SLR is pictured a bit higher up. But Sunday, yes. If you saw a dude in red corduroy trousers in a blue striped bankers’ shirt struggling under the weight of an overloaded gray backpack, well, that was me in all my media-producing glory.

    You would think that with as much money as Leno has he could afford something other than denim shirts. Seriously, is that his Superhero uniform? Everywhere I see him he's wearing blue jeans and a slightly lighter denim shirt, regardless of weather.

    David Piper is the fucking man.
    Aside from being a damned good driver, and having lived a life that most Jalopniks would kill to experience, he still owns many of the cars that he raced. Including the one pictured above.

    How the hell do you guys leave out the famous "Shah of Iran" Bugatti Type 57??? It's like one of the most famous Bugattis ever, featuring a figoni-falaschi body and Arabic license plates. Shame on you Jalopnik. Some times I swear you guys only know about cars made after 1950.
