    @VeeArrrSix: Larry the Cable Guy did a bit about having the Summers Eve 250... included the Vagisil car - itching and burning rubber all the way to the top of the 'Bush' standings... Here's a slightly modified version from a live performance, not the one that went on his recording.

    It never made sense to move the race to Donnington. I suspect that Bernie used this as a way to put the screws to Silverstone and extort yet more money from the British Drivers Club, which he appears to hate passionately.

    @Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: Probably because the BRDC is a stuffy, tweedy, exclusive club and would never admit a jumped up used car salesman like Ecclestone into their hallowed midst, especially when his own people don't want anything to do with him.

    Silverstone is an icon of British motorsports, and while Donington Park ain't bad at all, Silverstone is something more... special.

    That said, shutting down London and racing would be awesome (see that London track in Need for Speed Shift. I can see my flat from it!)

    Smart move all around. She's improving her IRL performance, but in NASCAR she'd be stuck somewhere in the rear third, and fans would lose interest quickly.

    @Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: I agree completely. She is a talented driver, places in the top 5 of IRL drivers, is THE face of the series. There are several open wheel drivers that have tried and failed at NASCAR, and several that have taken years to adapt(Montoya, Truex). Say what you will about NASCAR, but it is not an easy transition from other racing series. Plus, I do not think that Danica would be keen starting in a feeder series (although that would be the bes place to start).
