I like the edges melding with the base car's curves, so I don't find too much to complain about. And I hope its rareified buyers will appreciate it appropriately.
Me, I'd be too worried about scratching it to really use it properly. And it's more car than anyone actually needs.
I hope there's a good long line for it, so the factory can keep the lights on and the dealers have some newly satisfied customers to look after.
@TetrisMaster - The Jalopwhore: Ten year old Jag XK8, and then find someone with bad eyes and borrow their glasses (adversely, if you've got bad eyes, take the glasses off).
@layabout returns: Don't worry, I feel the same. The splitters and other "sporty" bits just look like it's trying a bit hard, like James Bond in a track suit.
To pose a new question: should, in the course of perusing these pictures, I find it necessary to need some "alone time" in the storage room downstairs, will they load on my Blackberry?
If I ever felt the need for world domination and dispatching British agents in elaborate and easily escapable ways, I'd rock a Cadillac Series 75 Limousine as my mobile headquarters.
And if it needed to run on alternative energy, I guess I'd imprison Darryl Hannah until she could convert it to run on vegetable oil.
I for one, think it is very shrewd of Ford to target the evil villain market.
I mean, they don't seem to be effected by the economic downturn. They're always losing both henchmen and vehicles in ever more spectacular ways. And the hero never seems to be able to ultimately kill them, ensuring both the opportunity to return in a sequel, and a steady demand for Ford products.
All the vehicles in Bond flicks are Ford and have been for just about the entire series ... notably Live and Let Die was a GM movie ... however, JB has been with Ford since at least Goldfinger as I recall

Get a car, or get a truck. A tall car on street tires isn't going to do much for you.

Way to go Ford!

Also, Bond's DBS (post-chase) - PCH? The lack of door wouldn't stop me from driving it.
