First Hyundai Genesis Coupe Crash Caught In Korea
The last thing any automaker could want leading up to the launch of an exciting new model is images of the car wrecked against a concrete post. Unfortunately for Hyundai, this 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe was caught making its first entry into the destruction derby of automotive life in Korea. According to a translated version of the Korean website Luckyworld, the car was wearing a temporary plate when it smashed into the concrete barrier around a street light, leaving both passenger and driver in critical condition. Since we don't really know the circumstances of the crash, we're not willing to rule out this being not a temp plate, but a manufacturers plate, meaning the car could have been a non-salable tester. Which is why we're willing to overlook for the moment a lack of airbag deployment. More » -

We'll have many more details shortly and our full gallery of the event in a moment — but yes, it's just been revealed. More » -

Well, after the Tiburon-lovers at NewTiburon dropped a hot load of shots of the new 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe over the weekend, some sites (we won't mention any names, MT, don't worry!) were apparently confused over which shots made it out on to the web and just decided to drop 'em all. 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Revealed, Unofficially!
Taking a quick break from the GM-gasm on the new El Camino of the past two days, it appears as though the Hyundai-hungry folks at the New Tiburon forums have blown a load of press shots out on to the web early on the new 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe before next week's New York Auto Show. Other than the hot shots, there doesn't appear to be much more to tell you. Well, based on one shot, it appears like the new kim-chee-crazy muscle car redlines at 6500 RPM, and, oh yes, it's one hot looking entry into the muscle car wars looking much different than the 2010 Hyundai Genesis RWD coupe concept we saw at the LA Auto Show last year. We're certainly looking forward to seeing it live on the show floor next week. Especially if they bring the same lovely lady they had in LA and who we've now affectionately named Genesis Priddy. All we know is this little deuce-door gets our thoughts all a-tingly. What about yours? More »
