Ford has two jet engines, and the Russkie only one. Pretty easy choice. Besides, the Ford gets you a bubble canopy, wings, and racing stripes.

Of course the Soviet model probably behaves better in collisions with military vehicles, never wears out, and can always be made to start in the winter by lighting a fire on top of the engine. This might be harder than I thought.

Sorry, gotta go with the Reds on this one. The Ford is the Jetsons to the ZIS' Deathrace.

The ZIS wins with me because of it's lack of hubcaps in the photo. That's the kind of attention to detail which allowed a wingbat like Reagan to "win" the Cold War...

I voted for Ford but if I could go back in time to the 50s for advanced car technology, I would bring back this--which I only recently discovered!

@Novaload: Hey hey! That's in Sweden! Our Yank car fans are blessed with a country big enough to hold the cars. The '59 Dodge is towing a '66 SMV, the classic Swedish "husvagn".

@Mr.choppers - Delenda Carthago Est: I just randomly found that on the internet--of course, I'm lying. You don't just randomly happen onto something like that. Sometimes if you google 1950s Mopars and campers, the damndest things happen.

You never did say why you don't recognize the end of last Punic War.

@Novaload: Oh, I can't quite remember, but for a while I kept on harping the same point over and over again (I think it was that US consumers are to blame for just about everything). In a fit of epic hubris, this reminded me of how the great Cato would end every single one of his speeches with "by the way, Carthage ought to be destroyed".

As nice as that Ford is, I'm gonna go with the ZIS because a.) I live in Florida and would certainly perish under the clear dome of the Atmos in the summer sun, and b.) I'm a commie.

the Atmos lets me live out my dreams of being a Speed Racer villain, while the ZIS lets me live out my dreams of being a Batman Villain... Well, with Batman there's less of a risk of dying, though you're guaranteed jail time (because he's BATMAN). Being a Speed Racer villain usually means your punishment is just a slap on the wrist from the law, but there's always a chance of dying in a fireball...

This is a tough choice for a campy villain.

My vote is conditional on whether or not the ZIS-112 can be -amino-ized. That would be awesome. The Ford has too much additional bling to make it -amino-worthy.
