    This car easily has ten times the low-carbon steel of any F1 car, for the weight savings, so you're getting a lot of value for the money.

    Also, this fellow is making real advances in the field of suspension-compliance-through-chassis-flex, that has not been seen for decades.

    Too bad the rear spoiler is too wide. Otherwise he could have entered it next year. I hear there's an open slot.

    You know what? I was going to completely 'dis this thing because of its tetanus inducing bodywork and used-farm machinery color scheme but then it occurred to me - until I build something cooler and better, I really can't complain. All the more power to the guy who built it. Sure it might not be a basement lambo or a Chinese pseudo- F1 car, but at least the guy who built actually did something.

    @Bring back the Jalopnik9: I try to look at it from another perspective: What truly terrible and destructive thing might this person have done if not wasting time building this custom racing car? I'll take this car and its harmlessness to the general population over a pipe bomb hobby or a meth lab.

    @tempesjo: Like Bacon Sandwich above, I didn't want to dis it because I respect that fact that a guy had a dream and he built it. Sure, it's rough, (and probably almost undriveable) but at least he was doing something productive rather than playing video games, dragoning random people's cars, or surfing the web while "working"...

    @Bring back the Jalopnik9: You know, I can't argue with that. If my son and I put something together like that someday, I'm sure I'd be proud of it, no matter what anyone else thought. Although I hope I have the presence of mind to forbid my son from driving it.

    @PowerTryp: Clearly you have never been to Tennessee, Kentucky, or West Virginia. People there have been known to take 70s and 80s hunks of junk and turn them into surprisingly cool replicas of their old NASCAR iterations.
    On a side note, isn't this Krewson first day as an official, full-time Jalop?
