    Its all politics, station wagons have a dork connotation that will only render the support of a few (obviously these are the smart people), SUVs are now the thing that's cool to hate. This pretends to be something different so that consumers can pretend to be cool in their little pretend fantasy land …and I hate it. I'll take a CTS-Wagon please, and I won't even be ashamed to call it a station wagon.

The fact is that BMW's decisions have been very profitable for the company(up until the global economic downturn), the general public likes the styling, and many other companies have copied it. So eat me you shitheads.

    Yes, thank you, that has been established about fifty three thousand times in at lest eighty threads. But just because something sells well does not mean it was designed well; even in the case of of BMWs. The BMWs have sold not because of their looks or even their performance, but rather because of their reputation. And yes, many have copied some of Bangle's design cues. A great many people also copied off of their elementary school neighbors. It still didn't get them far.


    So eat me you shitheads


    I'm sorry, my tastes tend to run towards breast meat, not ass meat.

    This is where Germans are being too infoolenced by American marketing. When cars like this come out it is just a new set of sheet metal on an existing chassis. Why people buy BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche was because they were cars of stature and automotive poise. Because Toyota and Ford and GM have made crossovers does not mean that it will be worth making.
