    Better there than glue'em'n'lose'em on the outside of the car. Smash'n'grab'em in Tribeca, crash'em at Monaco...all potential loss methods. Eh, Jaguar?


    British car manufacturers learned their lesson: Always put the diamonds on the inside of the car.

    1.09 total carats of TINY diamonds for $8,000 is a complete ripoff. The stones are probably worth 1/3 to 1/2 that much. The price of diamonds at a certain clarity go up exponentially with size.


    Plus, if it's anything like my switchblade key, it'll start falling apart within 2 years.

    @Ash78: It's clearly not aimed at Jalops,it's more for people with more money than taste. It gives them something sparkly to put next to their Breitling for Bentley watch before going to bed at night. They like the shiny shiny.

    @Ash78: Our switchblade dates at least to '03 and works fine.


    Both of our door latches have failed, but that's a different problem entirely.

    -Cover key with hat

    -Set alarm
