Don't ever speak ill of holy Bristol and it's patron saint St. Anthony of Crooks again.

Walnut veneer splinters under your nails and suchlike forms of "nicely understated" torture will otherwise ensue. In case of further articles in the same vein, please report to the basement of 368-370 Kensington High Street, London W14 8NL.

    Is that still "lolz"?

Even got nominated for the "Automotive Hall of Ignorance." Just goes to show sometimes the way you intend an article to play doesn't always reflect the way readers will receive it.

Does any US newspaper provide at-all legible automobile coverage? QOTD?

I'm pretty sure this Troutman-Barnes 911 is the inspiration for the Panamera, if anything.

@S_Mazza: The local dealership is right next to my office (Porsche; not Bristol). What I've noticed is that the first few times I saw The Hatchback of Notre Dame, it seemed really ugly. Now it just seems invisible. It's completely visually unexciting. Sounds good, though.

All in all, the lipstick is helping. At least the Stingray design cues distract from the rear window hump.

"Hump...what hump?" - apologies to Igor (played by Marty Feldman in Young Frankenstein)

Still, the Aston Martin Rapide is executed so much better. And it needs no lipstick...

Porsche is very minimalist in it's exterior styling and hanging crap off them usually fails. #topcarporschepanamerastingray

Busy, busy, busy. Yum, now I can get Schwabian rice! I might be able to tolerate the rear diffuser and the front bumper cover, but the rest is pretty silly.

This is a car that should be striving for understated style and athleticism. But maybe Mike Phelps will buy a six-pack for his friends. #topcarporschepanamerastingray
