Doomed? Hah! Most of that iron was sitting on lots and property they at least had hope, albeit slim, and not even a mention of C4C. Try watching the Brave Little Toaster as a kid, I still hear bars of that tune when I pass the auto wreckers near me.
That's exactly what popped into my head, as soon as that magnet lowered over that wagon. Makes you wonder if it was a conscious homage on Peugeot's part.
I'm going to take a stab at it, as all of these cars were highly disguised for the commercial.
1st scene on trailer: A Chevy Wagon (pre 1977), a Lincoln Mark III, and a Plymouth Satellite/Fury Post 1975.
2nd scene: An Eldorado post 1971 being dragged, and a Dodge A100 van on blocks.
3rd Scene at the Garage: Left to right, Pontiac LeMons Wagon (Pre 1973), Ford Grand Torino (Post 1972) and Ford F-150. In the background on lifts, I think the highest one is a Dodge 600, and a lincoln Mark IV on the outside behind the F-100
4th Scene, on Farm, I see a Buick Century Sedan, a 50's era Ford Tractor, and a highly disguised post 1968 Chevy Pickup. (I only got the chevy from the brief side shot)
5th Scene, used car lot. Major cars, Left, a Fifth Avenue, and a Ford Grand Torino Elite. The rest of the background cars include a Customized Econoline (Back Left, a Yellow Eldorado CVT, a red Chevy Wagon (1973), another Dodge A100, and a Ford F150.
@Bandido GT - Cabrón Malnacido: It was a LeMons LeMans... Even if it was a mistake it works so I give him credit. From what I can tell you got most of them, kudos to you sir.
@UDMan: Barely changed 71-72 Chevy for the 1st one (yellow/white) the other was a generic 69-72 Chevy GMC, can call it a GMC with 4 headlights for kicks.
Wow. I feel a flashback coming on....
P.S. I know at least one - a Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country wagon, circa 1980. Hate to admit it but I'd drive one.
On my dad's 16th birthday, his parents came in and told him "Son, we bought you a Peugeot." He ran outside to have a look at it, only to find a Peugeot bicycle. I'm pretty sure he got them back though when they sent him several monies for college and he promptly went out and bought a Barracuda with said funds.
You've got it all wrong. He knew he hit the dog and was merely rushing it to the vet as quickly as possible. I did that with a cardinal once...didn't make it.

The full shot of the lot, well, what isn't there?

Driving on the autobahn in Germany at 140mph in his BMW Z4, the driver hit a deer...
The deer disappeared...The driver stopped and wondered where did the deer go.......???
For all you deer hunters, this is how you pack a 150lb deer into a BMW Z4 convertible....(I know it's not a Z4)
...and warning, the photos are sort of gruesome.

I've never had anything bigger than a small bird stuck in the grill of a vehicle. The bird wasn't so lucky.
