    This is being done in the States as well - check out PARK(ing) Day.


    I appreciate the idea, actually. In a lot of places there aren't really non-commercial areas for just hanging out. And I kinda like the idea that the people are paying the same price for the space as the cars are, though the price is split by all of the people. I wonder what they do about the 2-hour max. though...

    They do a similar thing in SLC but instead of a platform they use real grass and lawn chairs and plants.


    I plan on doing something similar except for the addition of a stripper pole and wet bar.

    Jonathan Winters did this last century. He was actually arrested for putting money in a parking meter and lying down in the space whilst drunk to get some shut-eye.

    @SirNotAppearing: Depends. It's the most reproduced picture ever, I don't think you can pin them in a type of person. At least here you can find them in actors and hobos, socialites and politicians.

    @Syrax: Easy: politicians wear the shirt once and throw it away (and buy a new one), the hobo dumpster-diving finds a nearly new shirt, adds a fifth layer of clothing.

    @Syrax: I thought the hobos where sort of self explanatory, they and hippies are one and the same, different only generationally. In fact I very sure that hippies are the eviler spawn of hobos at least metaphysically, but maybe physically.


    This particular evil group of people worships at the altar of the psychopathic murderous dictator, because they wish to lounge around and feed off his scraps while the rest of us are in forced labor in state work camps.
