I saw someone driving a Sebring the wrong way down one of the only one-way streets in my town the other day. "Must be a rental car from out of town," I thought; then I lol'd.

    Sorry, that's all I've got.

At least you can't get on the highway

    The wrong way

    Don't be afraid

It's worth the money that you paid

Though your car won't get you laid

    You went the wrong way

apologies to the ghost of Brad Nowell

Someone needs to invent a system for people who like to drink, because obviously this guy was fucking drunk, that monitors your position via GPS and when you get on the freeway going the wrong way disables your car and calls the cops.

This is a summarily terrible idea for drivers like me, drivers that try to make their car beep in every way possible. If I can get my stability control to angrily "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP" at me, I've done something right.

Extend it to driving the wrong way down the street and we might have a problem.

Can they use cells phones and GPS to locate the hot girls on the sidewalk so I can drive by, pound on the door panel and let out a loud "Oooooww!"?

Because then I'd consider buying a Nissan.

Pedestrian 1: I think I hear a car coming, but it's coming from the wrong direction. Maybe we should get out of the middle of the roadway.

    Pedestrian 2: Wait a minute, I'm getting a text...

Annie's 12 years old, in four more she'll drive a car
Nobody gonna tell her it's the wrong way
Don't be disturbed with the quickness you'll hit curbs
For your car won't be perturbed

It better be more effective than the "you left your turn signal on" ding on my grandpa's Buick. I once watched him drive nearly a mile and a half before he noticed it. Oh, and one night he did drive onto the freeway in the wrong direction. They revoked his license after that.

I dunno. The constant bonging could be annoying as driving into oncoming traffic is the only way I've managed to shake off the Fuzz in a Versa.
