    By lowering the ride height compared to a normal estate, they have in turn lowered the loading height, and so made the vehicle more practical.


    I call that very thoughtful indeed.

    I didn't like GT-R, but I do like the idea of a GT-R that can haul around half my family. Thing is, Mercedes and BMW have offered rubber burning family wagons for a while now. Audi too.

    @Stoatmaster: The only references I can find to a Volvo 2300ES just give me pics of an 1800ES.

    Although it was originally so named (in typical euro fashion) because of it's 1.8 four, and Volvo of course sold millions of 2.3s (maybe they still are, for all I know), so maybe the 2300ES is just a version I've never heard of?

    @Clay Davis: That was my first thought too, but haven't they been out of production, even in Japan, for seven or eight years? I would be surprised if they were still dragging out modded versions for car shows, but I guess it's possible.

    @Leeeeena: I probably haven't had enough coffee but the "just enough sex appeal to get raped" line is jarring. Why not that they just had a wild fling or a cheap one night stand? Rape isn't related to sex appeal and that phrase just seems contrary to Jalop norms.
