What's up here? Is this a convention of the Society for the Preservation of Internal Combustion?

Let Nissan play. Maybe they'll come up with something interesting.

    Mmmmm. Wheatgrass.

Actually I'm serious. They sell it at Booster Juice up here, and it's quite yummy, particularly when followed with a Mango Hurricane.

    Hmm. Where are my keys?

"Nissan has developed a sophisticated IT system for its zero-emission EVs, connecting the vehicle's on-board transmitting unit to a global data centre*2 to support EV driving 24 hours 7 days a week."

So, will I be getting emails letting me know my vehicle will be unavailable from 6am to noon Saturday for server maintenance?

Usually the term "show off" is reserved for something to take pride in,i see nothing to be proud of here.

@layabout returns: Yeah, I have to agree with you there. It's an existing car with a transplanted electric pipe-dream. I mean, powerplant. It's good for nothing but getting some more press from outfits like Jalopnik.

The Tiida is the Versa in the US

Isn't it also the Renault Versa in Europe? Or did they change the name over there?

@Ash78: Never heard of a Renault Versa, the closest thing they have is the Megane.

@layabout returns: My mind is playing tricks on me. When they brought it to the states a few years ago, I recognized it as a Renault, but didn't realize it was an entirely new name.

@Ash78: I think the Versa shares a platform with the Renault Scenic
