    ...Insert allegedly funny joke...

    ...Perhaps a gratuitously long and boring anecdote about a Nissan or Drag Racing...

    ...Start an esoteric and nerdy conversation about the dual clutch gearbox...

    ...Steal some bandwidth from another website by posting their pictures here...

    I don't know...

    Fuck I'm bored, why do I have to work today? Nobody calling, no emails, nothing! Too bored to even comment properly. Fuck it, I'm going to the pub!

    Give the GTR a break. Remember the Mitsubishi 3000gt-vr4 ALSO went through a transmission every time owners tried to get "magazine" 0-60 and quarter mile times out of them. We should look back and acknowledge the level of...dare I say..pinnacle! -of automotive greatness those cars are remembered for. Heck, if it wasn't for the VR-4, CD would have never created the ubiquitous 5-60 "street start" standard!

    Everything breaks. The owner said he thought it was some wheel hop earlier that did it in. Thats what I have been saying all along. Wheelhop kills parts. It kills Corvette transaxles, Cadillac parts, Viper rear ends.

    According to the driver, it sounded like a "bunch of metal dominoes in a line and Tiger Woods came by and hit them with his driver."

    Strangest metaphor ever. Triple bonus points for strangest car metaphor ever, and one quantum of extra points for strangest transmission failure metaphor ever.

    I know this car was modifed so it could have been the issue with this car but I am having a hard time hearing everybody call this a supercar. From what I have seen it does put up supercar numbers but if it disinigrates while doing is it really that super. Especially when the company you bought it from does not honor the warrenty after you use one of the cars features the way it was meant to be used.

    @scarney329: I thought disintegrating under normal use was always one of the key qualities of a bona fide supercar? I remember everyone always complaining that the NSX was just "too damn reliable" to be considered a supercar.

    @Unevolved:

    I think my point is legitimate. The only real criticism of it is the transmission issues you get when you really hoon things up. So it is intellectually dishonest to say "It even sucks at breaking." when the occasional is breaking is probably the reason you claim it to suck in the first place.
