I have to say, that is a nice looking washing machine.

    What?

    That's a car?

Did you know that I die a little every time I see one of these on the roads. Mostly because I know that Im going to be stuck behind some slow driving person in a Camry "Sport" going 5 under the limit.

@nadnarb: The trick is to make THEM die a little every time you see one.

Fit the same big metal push bars they put on police Crown Vics, and learn to master the PIT manoeuvre. Would make the commute much more fun.

Honestly I like it, and I can see why other people continue to buy it. I think you guys are bashing it just because of the sheer amount of sales. That alone should let you know it isn't terrible, and no this car will never be unique. I never liked a Camry until the new models came out, and honesty I don't think its anywhere near the same style of bland as the Camrys of old. Kudos to Toyoda for upping the anti so much that I don't think you call this bland, the only way you could is because the number of sales... unless the new "bland" is a close to 300hp v6, with a nav screen, and leather interior.

Toyota finally reaches its goal for rubbing out the future of car guys everywhere...

    Well, almost everywhere...

    Jalopnik.com - 2065:

Murilee Martin Jr. posts a picture of the green one in a DOTS setting, sparking similar reactions from commenters....

"Cool pics Murilee, I remember when my dad had a 2010 Green Car!"

"Nifty stuff! My mom use to drop my girlfriend and I off at the movies in here 2011 Red Car! It was just like this one, but it was Red! Hey Jr., I heard your mom had a beard, is that true?"

"That's one of the finest examples of a 2010 Green Car I have seen in a long time. Nowadays, all of the Green Cars really look alike, but back then Green Cars had style."

Wow. That is... uh... yeah, that is undeniably a Camry.

You know, every time I start thinking that Lincoln is ugly and undesirable, I just have to come back to a Toyota for a little refresher. Sure, the Lincolns might not be... attractive... right now, but at least they aren't as bland and aggressively uninspiring as these vanilla pieces of crap. Seriously, how else can you describe Toyota, except as "aggressively uninspiring". They actually TRY not to inspire you, and try damn hard at it. At least you'll notice a Lincoln before you slam into it on the highway. If it weren't for your instincts, you wouldn't even see a Toyota.

The only discernable change I can find is slightly reshaped headlights.

Laziest restyle ever. I hope there wasn't an ACTUAL unveiling.

Really? Lazier than Porsche? At least we can tell that something has changed without having to break out the protractors.

As someone who appreciates a good bowl of vanilla ice cream, I DEMAND that you cease and desist your comparisons of this extraordinarily bland automobile with that tasty treat.

In the future, the Camry should make you crave Nachos, Flanders style (sliced cucumbers topped with cottage cheese, non-fat flavorless ice milk, or plain white bread with glass of water on the side for dippin'!

    Thank you.

Really hard to tell from an '09 without doing a Google image search. It isn't totally ugly, but it is totally forgettable. Toyota should change the name from Camry to Generic Car™.

@ZeGerman: It's a mid-model revision, they aren't gonna change much aside from the heads and tails and a bit of the interior. Cf. Camry in '95, '00ish, '05ish...

I think the Camry is becoming a serious road hazard. Every time I saw one this morning, the feeling of boredom was so intense I became momentarily comatose and nearly ran off the road.

I am making the call. Ford Fusion* will be the best selling car in 2010.

    Put it in the books.

*Including sales of the Milan and MXZ. Limit one per customer. Shipping and handling extra. Offer not valid if GM goes belly up.

    @zacarious:

Well, the Fusion is already a better car, yet underperforms the Camry signifigantly (as is and does the Malibu). Why would it change, as clearly "looks" and "driving" don't matter to the 300K plus Camry customers.
