    @Bumblebee: They were using the Pentastar logo for the whole company while they used the wax seal for the division so there is a difference. I am assuming this means the Pentastar isn't dead just the wax seal is. I'm not too keen on the new logo but it's an improvement over the wax seal in any case. #chrysler

    The only thing wrong with the Dakota was they didn't have the convertible in the extended-cab version.

    That, and it arrived on the scene about ten years before mid-size pickups replaced the compact variety, permanently. #chrysler

    @I was drivin' that Model A: I always preferred the Mitsubishi and Jeep trucks the Dakota killed off so I gained a rather negative view of that badge after that. I know it was to stop sales cannibalisation which makes good sense but if anything they should have rebranded the Comanche as a Dodge as it was superior to the Dakota of the time and looked better too. #chrysler

In my honest opinion nobody should EVER put a dead person in their ads. A look alike I can deal with. If I was in heaven drivin' my Chevy and heard some mortals were going to stick me in an ad I would go down and change their minds. #chrysler
