I love the Cube, and I am pleasantly surprised to read that it will be available with a 6-speed manual. I'd love to buy one, but luckily I don't need a car.
I daresay that tenbeers, however, will not be seen behind the wheel of one of these...
@Rust-MyEnemyEnjoysPleasure!!!!: The crazy (in a good way) thing is they actually bothered to flip-flop the whole back end on the LHD models, so no having the tailgate open toward the curb.
I guess it would be sort of like staring lustfully at Miley Cyrus (which I don't do, btw), but I'd REALLY like to see this thing rodded out--slammed, flat paint, with a VQ37 under the hood or something.
@Paul Y. can't think of a better, shorter handle: THAT's what you get for making fun of my manual demands. Just kidding, but I am very happy that the put a proper box in it. The bench seat will be missed however.
It looks like they've revived everyone's favorite color from the 70's: Baby-Sh*t Brown! (The one on the transporter) Mmmmm, BSB, I'll bet they'll sell a lot of those.
@A strolling player, now with 100% more Studebaker!: Amen to that. And when I saw "everyones favorite color from the '70s" I thought, "I don't see one in olive green." I'll take mine with burnt-orange interior, please.
@Jesda: Since the US market will likely get the Cube, it seems as though Nissan learned from Toyota's mistake of focus-grouping the xB to death for the second iteration (Oddly, the current xB is sold as the Corolla Rumion in Japan, with the 1.8L Corolla/xD engine, AND they still sell a redesigned Yaris-based bB there).
That said, when my 1st-gen xB gives up the ghost, a Cube would be a solid replacement.
Too bad that Nissan has obstensibly killed off the possibility of an electric Cube, as that concept they were parading around had implied there could be.

...like the stripper S10 I used to have with a bench and a five speed. Having a third person in there was always hilarious.
