Wow. I thought the grille on the Chrysler 300 was large....
However, a 4.2L TDI in a nice sedan...nice.
Wait....
Damnit. For whatever reason US consumers will not buy diesels...you people SUCK.
And yes, I have a diesel. I'd have a second if I could have found one in the body size/style I was shopping (used).
1,400 watts...at what, 30% THD?! I always liked the oddball, 'high-tech', post-modern B&O designs, but hoped they'd never stoop to Pyramid amplifier numbers.
"It puts out 150x4!*"
*at a distortion level so high, deafness is welcome. Real power is about 5Wx4 @ 0.02% THD, which sucks but hey, whadda want for $99.
5Wx4, if done properly, is fine for most people with a factory system. Honestly, how loud does talk radio have to be?
/last line is sarcasm...I listen to both Morning Edition and All Things Considered pretty regularly, and I'm not either conservative or liberal, can merely think for myself. This is when a Billboard Top 100 disc from 1956-2000 is not turning in the player...or some blues.

In principle I like the LEDs integrated into headlights. However, the execution leaves something lacking. This A8 is probably the worst design introduced so far; it almost looks like an aftermarket knockoff. I think the designers were trying too hard too be different, perhaps afraid to repeat the styling from the A6. The best usage of the LED styling to date has to be the S5. I do like the taillights, however, and the overall look of the car.
Drove an Octavia with the 1.9 diesel a few years ago as a rental. Put about 1K mi on it, and I couldn't have been more impressed. It seemed to have been made by people who understand what you can do without on a cheap car without making it feel cheap. I was seriously shocked that those people worked for VW.

Do they have defrosters on the lenses for winter?
LED = no heat to melt snow/ice

The details are exquisite, no doubt, but I can't help but think that it's the wrong size for the way it looks. It looks even more like a stretched A4.
