    All I know is that while traveling from one end of Germany to another, and seeing dozens of cool cars, an R8 generated the most excitement among the blokes I was with. In person it does look extremely bad ass.

    @Fourstring85: No, that would be a heavily tuned A8. Although in keeping with the pattern thus far, to make an RS8, they'd need the engine from the Veyron.

    @TBM-Fan: There's just something about the Avant...the extra space and those amazing lines.


    Not to mention, cars like RS6 and E63 wagons are the only way to cause SEVEN people to crap their pants at the same time.

    @The Name's Ash78, Housewares: I agree. The hoon per person ratio is much better in the RS6 wagon. Better value for money.

    @layabout couldn't give a f**k: I know for certain on the E63, but not certain on the RS6: Rear-facing third-row seats were optional.

    @The Name's Ash78, Housewares: Wasn't aware the Merc had the optional seats, i've never seen an RS6 with them. Either way that's not the seat i'd want to be sat in.

    @layabout couldn't give a f**k: If I remember the W210 Mercedes wagon correctly, there was a disclaimer for the third row that they were "temporary" seating and didn't conform to the crash test standards. Also, it helps to be under 5' tall.

    I'd take the R8 over the Gallardo any day of the week. I've seen both quite a few times in the flesh, and I like the R8 a whole lot more.
