Here it is, the brand new E-Class in all its glory. As you can see, the biggest change is that Mercedes-Benz's most important model will switch from the dual-pod lights seen on the current one to single units with LED wizardry. I guess that's how Stuttgart says "hi" to Ingolstadt.

Since the early ‘90s we've seen Mercedes slowly dilute its peerless quality in a drive for increased sales. The 2010 Mercedes E-Class represents a major step back towards the timeless luxury cars of yore.

Set to be officially revealed at next month's Detroit Auto Show, a few more shots of the new 2010 Mercedes E-Class sedan have already found their way onto the internet.
