    I like it okay, I'd be happy if I won it on a gam show. I think most of Italy's recent design offerings have been pretty generic and fall quite short of what the past has given us. But then again, I like Opel GTs and malaise era Matador Coupes too.

    @jasper911: You're right on the money. All of the design houses have been struggling, and some have folded altogether. Not exactly a wellspring of stylistic innovation right now.


    And even though it's a carbon composite body I would think you could get a better panel gap fit. Looks what you'd see on a '70s TVR.

    I think it has some possiblity. Ferrari nose, bubblicious butt...


    But they need to do something different with the 'Vette roofline...


    ...and, seriously, ditch the Hyundai Elantra styleline.

    So I don't hold out hope that this Vette mod is going to end up in a happy place. Also, the whole thing looks as though its never seen the breezy part of a wind tunnel, so I wouldn't be surprised if its high speed stability wasn't compromised from the source car.

    @racerx: I think that's part of the optical illusion of deep-dish rims, especially the ones with the silver rings and dark centers. If they switched to a lipless silver 5-spoke or something, the rims would visually gain a couple inches in size.


    Nothing against the deep dish style, but it's an aesthetic tradeoff.

    I don't think it's a bad looking car. It's just not as good looking as the Corvette that they started with. I just don't see spending that much on what is the Corvette equivalent of a Fierrari.


    The greenhouse appears to be unchanged, so the Corvette lineage is unmistakable, and the fender vents look out of place.


    It's alright, but I wouldn't pay Corvette money for it, let alone the premium that they are asking.

    @smalleyxb122: The problem with the Anteros is (a) you can tell it's still a Corvette, and (b) it's been done better. For example:


    1959 Corvette rebodied by Scaglietti

    1963 Corvette Rondine by Pininfarina

    1961 Corvette by Vignale
