    A four liter whipplecharger is some mighty deep breathing, folks. What's the turn ratio on the drive? That'd tell us what kind of BOOOOOST they're stuffing down the intake.

    @Michael Coury: Still just a stock car. Drag cars are no fun if you just go out and buy one.
    Why does there have to be a shortcut to real racing. I guess Ford has to cater to every possible niche by creating a Mustang to fill it.
    Plus, this thing is a joke. 4.0 liter whipple on a 330? really?
    Sorry guys, I am too young to have had the opportunity to purchase a 68 anything. Must have been nice to be wealthy 40 years ago.

    It's nice to see the "World's Largest Collection of Balding, Overweight Men With Enlarged Prostates and Collector Car Auction" is doing something nice for charity.


    Does the Cobra Jet Mustang really only have a 400 HP motor? Is that a typo, or is it just kinda slow?

    @NiceNurseRatched: its just kinda stripped out and pretty light, and suspension upgrades plus gears, from what I hear it should run low 10s or lower, and triple digit trap speeds.

    @clashtastic: So it's 140 lbs. heaver than a Corvette Z06 and it has 1.5 less HP; yet it's significantly faster in the quarter mile? Is gearing supposed to account for this miracle?

    @NiceNurseRatched: Gearing + slicks + a rear suspension built to launch.


    If you can put all 400 HP into moving the car, you can get the job done.


    That said, 10s still seems optimistic.
