Don't tell these guys about Hokey-Spokes. They're for bicycles but I'm sure they could be easily modded for cars. You can program all sorts of weird-ass designs and even text. My Coupe Z wheels are all going to say, "PAH!!!" as I roll down the street missing the rear-bumper.

I seem to be missing something.. $400 for four multi-colored led flashlights that you point at your rims.. Where's the remaining 380 dollars worth of merchandise? #gadgets

@Ben Wojdyla: like, automatically? Well godddammit, that's worth it then! That is some high technology. After all, auto-retracting car antennas have only been around since what, the early 80's?

What potential cotomers really need is a metal spike that extends forwards from the driver's headrest, and another one rearwards from the steering wheel. #gadgets

I could see this in an application that you need to light the tires as you inspect or change a flat...but I agree ...FAIL.

Along with that HORRIBLE advertising, scrolling, voting panel truck that was driving up Street Rd some nights ago. Motion, video and light on a panel van, moving??? If I were a cop, I issue 4 moving violations and my nightstick hidden in the lowest sphincter... #gadgets

Sure to be 'not legal' in most states unless it's red/amber/white colored.

Hey! I saw the Atlanta skyline in the beginning of the video.

But really, just another tacky and tasteless car mod.

Sorry MotionLites, I'll keep my cash in my pocket and you can keep your flash off of my ride. #gadgets

I like it when idiots adopt a trend that is so easily molested...

    Wheel lamps: wire cutters.

Spiners: Both hands on the end of the propeller. One foot on the hub. Pull propeller towards you. Walk away.

Disclaimer: Don't do the above. #gadgets

But can I get some which spin while stopped in a 22" size for my 1982 Oldsmobile Delta 88?

Why is it cool technology, like LED's, get molested by common people.

I point to the Internet as a second example. HID headlights is a third. #gadgets

I'm surprised at how shamlessly tacky it is. Some arm sticking out of your wheel well, that you clamp on like those cheap lighter-socket-powered LED spot lights for your interior (popular among those with burned-out instrument cluster lights).

Something at least somewhat technologically impressive would be LEDs built into the wheel, with a tiny built-in generator and IC to light it up when it's moving to tell people how big a douchenozzle you are. Something like this fan.

But no, this is some low-tech piece of trash, no more interesting than illuminated windshield washer nozzles. #gadgets
