    ok... how do we reverse it to get these to look more real? (i mean, besides maybe me doing some REAL landscaping instead of green paint and model railroad buildings...)

    @parkrndl: Dude, that is SO titties and beer! (Apologies to the ladies, I don't mean to offend, but this track is seriously freaking cool.) Is this from old film as it appears, or was it shot with a tiny video camera (as the pixellation would suggest), and given that 'patina' with editing software? Also, does this track still exist? I've never seen a slot car carrier until today.

    @The Name's Ash78, Housewares: When I saw trucks driving over Old Glory, I suspected this wasn't in the USA. The Aussie flag on the other side of the course, combined with the RHD demolition derby cars caused me to guess Australia, too. An assumption which CyrilKeenan's entry seems to confirm.

    @General Halfshaftery: That video is actually from Australia. Brisbane Entertainment Centre by the looks of the "flamboyantly" coloured seats.

    The American flag is probably there because it's an American Sport and most of the Drivers are probably Yanks.

    @Pete Gaines: Yeah plenty of things,you just like to try & single me out for the things i don't like. Do you have some kind of problem with people giving their own opinion & not following the crowd? I just personally find monster trucks boring as hell,once you've seen it once it tends to be repetative,how many times can you go "wow a truck driving over a car"? The idea of time lapse photography looks good with an interesting subject.

    @layabout: LeMons might be cool, but you would have to include pit row action to get the proper Fisher-Price "my first endurance race with questionable cars" effect.

    @stuntpuppy: Yeah,i was thinking along those lines,shot from the pit lane. I think that would be very impressive. I hope it can be done at one of the next LeMons,i think many Jalop's that can't get to a LeMons would be interested in seeing what goes on in the background.

    That is amazing. If you had just posted it, it would have sparked quite a bit of discussion as to what it was.

    Because something about it looks like bad animation, and then you look again and it is very trippy indeed. I haven't seen anything like that since the early 70s, if you know what I mean.

    That's pretty cool. I've seen tons of tilt shift photos, but this adds a nice dimension.


    On the other hand, if I wanted to see a three-hour epic about racing around a dirt oval, I can rent Ben Hur on DVD.
