Wet switchbacks favor a lighter car. Regardless of the HP in the Nissan, it couldn't follow the Evo IX's lead. Also, I have found that more expensive cars, like other sorts of expensive tools, usually are employed by people who can't even use the ordinary tool to its maximum efficiency anyway. Thus, to use probability, the likelihood of failure is high, pretest. No surprises.

wow full airbag deployment on the poor GTR... there is no replacement for driver skill...

the GTR Driver had no idea what he was doing, too late on the brake and not enough gas coming out of the turns.

GAWD IS BASIC CORNERING 101 - DO ALL THE BRAKING BEFORE YOU GO INTO THE TURN, PUNCH IT AT THE APEX AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO!!!

*thanks to Sony and Grand Turismo for teh skillz

Understeer...FTL! I love that the EVO guy even had a "loser cam" setup.

So, a guy with a fancy new pool que walks into the bar and drops some cash on a table where an average player doesn't quite look like he knows what he was doing...

Like the kids say these days... pwned!

Considering how much our intrepid GT-R pilot paid for the car, a few extra $$ for the 2 day course at Bondurant would have paid off big here - Then again, you can't fix stupid...

@д ѕтяоциб рлауея: Nice reference, but it does not apply to this situation.

"Godwin's Law applies especially to inappropriate, inordinate, or hyperbolic comparisons of other situations (or one's opponent) with Hitler or Nazis or their actions. It does not apply to discussions directly addressing genocide, propaganda, or other mainstays of the Nazi regime." --Wikipedia

Since the author was referring to the genocide of people below average intelligence, Godwin's Law does not apply. Thread on.

    1) bashed up car

    3) dead passenger/onlooker/girlfriend

@Mike the Dog will work for a Preview Button!: He thought he could just bounce off the wall unscathed. I really would like GT5 to introduce real damage to the cars, so one kiss to the concrete is bye bye race, or at least bye bye podium. That would teach people when to be intrepid and when not to.

I don't think a Dodge Intrepid would have fared much better other than that the impact speed would have difinitely been slower.
