Finally! I can't buy the base because it's too boring, I can't buy a GTA because it's too expensive, but this one: I can't buy it because we don't get it here. It's like Goldilocks and the Three Bears that she read about but never met.
I keep hoping and praying that Americans finally realize how cool hot hatches are and buy them. I've seen glimmers of hope in the Focus sales figures, and the fact that VW seems to think we're finally catching on. Let's hope there is enough demand that we can get some more offerings from Europe like this and the Fiat 500 (especially the Abarth).
I know that MiTo is supposed to be pronounced "Me Too," but I always read it as "My Toe." Not the best name for a car, but of course it's better than Qashqai.

@philibuster: They do! But they're deathly afraid of driving around with exposed pickup beds, so they cover them up with Carryboy brand plastic covers.
@Ileee: Uhhh, pickups are first and foremost a utilitarian vehicle. Sure, it's silly to buy one to carry groceries, but what if you need to carry a thousand pounds of top soil or the like, regularly? How's your "smart" car supposed to do that?
The MiTo GTA makes the Kia Soul in the adjacent banner look pretty dumpy in comparison.
I do think that Alfa will go considerably up-market in their return to the US in an attempt to mitigate the economic decline that has decimated lower-end car sales, but has apparently only dented the much-higher margin upper-end makers.

Able to go from Oshawa to Missasauga in a single bound?
Improve the overall theft stats for the MiTo in general?

Why's she wearing black shoes with a red dress? Even I am aware that's not good.
And why's the car got cheese graters for wheel covers?
