    Not bad considering that they did no modeling of the landing at all. He needs to make friends with a crazy physicist, and redesign the suspension a little, and he's golden.

    That was pretty darn close. Yes, he didn't stick the landing, but "FAIL"? Give the guy some credit, that was a pretty awesome stunt -- and he almost ended wheels up. I know, I know, a miss is as good as a mile, but I have no doubt that these guys nearly have this dialed.

    @nick2ny: Not setting up the rebound dampers = FAIL. I'm pretty sure they knew they wouldn't be landing on a pile of cardboard boxes at the main event like they did in practice. Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.

    @Kelly: That looks like El Toro here in Orange County. Millenworks is only a couple of miles from there. I am assuming the fab of the vehicle was done there.

    The X-games motorcyclists do these things just getting the bikes out of the trailers. Hell, Cameron Diaz did one - or at least in my fantasies it was really her.
