But, damn, if this thing can best the Camry Hybrid, Toyota might start to regret selling their system design to Ford. The front does resemble a pillow (though not as much as the old Saturn L-series did), but in Fusion form this is an attractive high-mileage largeish sedan.
@A strolling player, now with 100% more Studebaker!: the rear looks the same b/c it's a facelift. The bumper is different, but everything else is the same b/c to change more would have cost a whole lot more.
@FrankRizzo: As much as I love the internet, I loathe myspace... But she's quite attractive. The last Mercury I had was a '77 but I find myself watching her... uh, commercials.
Yeah, wow, that is not going to help Ford's bottom line. Why is the nose so droopy and heavy looking? Why is the rear so, well, 1990's Hyundai? Taking a dull car and making it ugly doesn't work Ford. Remember the Scorpio? How'd that work out for you?
When will they learn that cutting corners on a facelift shows? This is worse than Meg Ryan's lips.
Personally, I think that nose is actually quite attractive. Again, however, I will need to see it in person. I said the same thing about the Ford Flex, and when I saw one in person I was decidedly less than impressed. Ford seems to make cars right now that photograph well and look great for a magazine shot... and look like rubbish in person.
@fodder650: My god, I had forgotten about Carmageddon. I still have Carpocalypse Now! kicking around somewhere. I wonder if it will actually run on my MacMini.
@pegasus_: Yes, a 'firmware' update could lead to a 'hardware' update. Parking is not mandatory, but highly recommended. Caution should be taken to ensure avoidance of 'offspring' virus.

Now the serious questions:
Can you see it in full sunlight or does it was out?
Is this cheaper to make/install than mechanical gauges?
Is there some inherent with the functioning of mechanical gauges?
Does it respond in real time?
Are the readings smoothly transitioning and stable, or does it vary everytime something changes by 0.0001 percent?
Are they just jealous of the Camaro?
And the real question:
Can I slap this into my Lagonda?

You could add lots of other apps, themes and change the fonts.
Imagine having to park your car to have a 'firmware' update.
