If I had the money, this, or the RS6 Avant, is what I would buy. I've mentioned many times my irrational love for wagons, and a supercar station wagon is pretty much the ideal candidate to bring out my inner dragon.
What's up with all the high powered wagons? When I was younger it sucked if you were the kid that had to drive your dad's wagon around. In fact if you went cruising in one of those, there would be at least several jokes.
I did have an uncle that had a Ford Wagon with a 429. When he took my cousins and me for a ride, it could get hairy. He told me not to long ago that when he ordered that car he just told his wife he ordered the heavy duty version.
@FloppyPimproom: Dude, Bronco II = total SUV, but in a good way.
As far as I'm concerned, all pre Rav-4/Lexus RX300 SUVs are just fine. Body on frame*, 4-low, at least 1 solid axle, they're usable and buildable.
*Cherokee gets a free pass.
My family/mom vehicles were Toyota Corolla wagon, Chrysler Minivan, Ford Econoline (big one), then 3/4 ton Suburban. The suburban was a total tank, but you'd have a hard time getting me or mine back into any van that's not a Sportsmobile:
@Mad_Science: The only sport the Bronco II had was "down the rutted farm road at ludicrous speed," or so I imagine. It was her truck, so she kept it after the divorce when we moved to a paved road.
Impressive, but not the fastest. The E61 M5 wagon claims 205 mph with the limiter defeated, and there was a Brabus E63 AMG wagon that was tested to 211. And with a wagon like this, you just know they won't take advantage of the extra cargo room.
Very cool, but I would also opt for the sleeper package for the exterior.
I saw a modded BMW wagon smoke a hopped-up Cobra the other day on I-69. When I passed the Cobra a few miles later, the two guys inside were having what appeared to be a very confused, but very lively debate.

Minivans/SUVs/Crossovers = mom cars, because that's what your mom drove if you were born after ~1977.
Wagons = cool, because the go as fast as your favorite sport sedan, but with tons of room for surfboards/bikes/love-makin'.
Personally, I prefer the 2-box shape of a wagon anyway. Maybe that's why I own 2.

Mum's never had a wagon/crossover/van of any sort, actually.
