And I'm a bit afraid of what that engine may or may not need, and of whether it's been submerged in chlorinated freshwater.
I speak of the engine, because the rest of it ain't worth that much.
Short version: If it's been decently cared for and the maintenance has been kept up, Nice Price. If it spent half its time sitting and the other half doing righteous burnouts, with no thought of even an oil change, massive Crack Pipe. You will need it to be well maintained, after all - these things were shoddy enough when new.

Also, we have a C230 at our dealership I was considering buying but the sunroof is broken. It costs 5 thousand to repair a sunroof. I looked up performance parts because a sunroof is no biggy for me. A pulley for the supercharger costs at least 800 bucks.

Once.. when I was a lass..
I saw Jerassic Park 3 (the one with the ML all goosed up to pull the Camper and trailer back up from the ravine).
But now, Ive come to my senses.
This is just another excuse for MB to put out a vehicle that is large, slow (unless ya drop a 6.0 motor in) top heavy (be nice if they dropped the roof height) and doesnt do its SUV job as intended. (Do I see ALL SEASONS / STREET TIRES ON THIS MO FO?)
It is the DEFINITION OF A crack pipe..
This can join the X5, Q7 / Cayenne, Slade on the precipice of hell.. as I lovingly PUSH THEM OVER.

When you have a 6.0ltr motor in this pig.. it SHOULD MOVE.
And shoving a V12 into the Toureg / Cayenne.. is pointless. Motor size is relvant to the vehicle weight. No purpose for a vehicle that weighs coming on 6000lbs.
Try putting ITS STANDARD 3.0ltr into this.. and it WONT MOVE.
But anything less.. is pointless, and so is this vehicle it size / brethen.
Then again.. the dumb ass talks about if you go off road and in snow, "get this vehicle". But he preceded to mention how he's driven other top heavy shit..
They dont go off road either, hence the tires, and inherant design.

As for the ML, I've known people who bought these new back then and they were mostly problematic. In days past I wouldn't think twice of buying a used Benz with 100K on it, but this thing? I'd want to see tons of service records before buying it. Instead the seller gives me driving stories and internet videos. Crackpipe!!

1. The engine. AMG engines are awesome. I own the 6.2, but the 5.5 is just as brutally powerful. Believe me, you step on the accelerator, and the world turns backwards. There's that much power.
2. It's an awesome sleeper. It's a dark red, pre facelift M-Class. De-badge it, and you're good

I have it by means of an S63, serial killer has it right, they haul so much ass it's a bit ridiculous. i haven't gone too crazy in mine but I assume it'd jumble my brains and then spit them out as a smoothie
