2009 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Gets Facelift, Still Not For America

Want a premium brand city car? How about a Mercedes A-Class? Of course, you'll have to be in one of the markets that actually gets the car (not the US). But we're not too disappointed. This here is the new 2009 version that will be released later year, but even with freshened styling and a cleaner engine lineup, we're not sure if we'd actually want one.

Fiat and Daimler In Talks to Swap Bodies

Looks as though Dr. Z has something else up his sleeve, with the announcement from Fiat that the companies are in talks to do a little body swapping. While we think a Monica Belluci for Heidi Klum exchange might provide fruitful for all involved, we're fairly sure they're talking about something else. Though details are a little sketchy, it looks as though Fiat could be sharing their small-car platform (see the Panda Sport above) to help underpin a new A-Class, perhaps. More »
