While attempting a cross-country trek in his MDI Airpod, Jack Hoffman ran out of compressed air. Then, when attempting to refuel by blowing into the fill nozzle, he became lightheaded, passed out, and was run over by a passing Hummer.

I don't know how they did it, but they out peed the peapod.

@SpeedWagon - Now in Classic view!: This needs to go head to head with a GEM peapod in a no holds barred deathmatch. Two obnoxious people movers will enter, hopefully none will survive!

    Alcohol

    Compressed natural gas

    Electricity

    Hydrogen

    Liquefied natural gas

    Liquefied petroleum gas

    Liquids made from coal

    Biodiesel

These are all the different fuels we have come up with to power our future generation vehicles. My only questions is: why cant we seem to just pick one. Instead of throwing some totally off the wall concepts at everyone like Air, and possibly even walking, why not just decide which one is the most economically viable and stick with it?

On a side note: I personally think the MDI car is all just a bunch of hot air!!

\Sorry, I'll go back to my rock...

@redsys567: There's only one answer, the tunnels from Futurama, that would be epic!

    NYT, July 17, 2124:
Political turmoil in the middle east threatens to disrupt the air market. The United States uses more air than it has, and is dependent on these foreign markets. this air shortage was not entirely unforeseen, but the impact on worldwide financial markets threatens to be huge.

Presidential hopeful, Ralph Nader VI, promises to explore alternative energy sources. Based on the latest research from MIT, it looks like some form of refined petroleum may be able to power our automobiles.

This is clearly inspired by the new "wadded-up ball of chewing gum" design language, also seen here:

I'm sure you meant "futuristic styling and a tiny carbon footprint perfect for city dwellers". I mean, why else would you post an article about a green colored car?
