It's still the fastest naturally aspirated car, I think.

@tenbeers: That would be interesting to look up. Because a couple normally aspirated could beat it on accerlation but not get anywhere near its top speed. Nor with the creature comforts it had.

Just wondering if the Koeningzeggs are force fed or not

Cool. So my 1/18th scale one, which has covered zero miles, is worth $222,222!

    I'm a fair man... I'll swap it for a Ferrari 430.

@Rust-MyEnemyOnTour!: If only this actually worked. I'd raid my kid's hot wheels collection in an instant.

If I had $4 million to plunk down on a single car, a McLaren F1 would be it. Now back to reality...

The most exclusive F1 is the LM, only 5 were built. McLaren have one at there headquarters, but maybe not for much longer, as apparently Lewis Hamilton has been promised he can have it, by Ron Dennis, if he wins the drivers championship.

@rocor: I hope Hamilton likes papaya orange.

The LM is the ultimate F1, I think, but probably the most exclusive street car is the F1 GT Long Tail. Only 3 built, using Le Mans homologation gear. Engine tune was the same, but the aero package means a much higher top speed than the either the "vanilla" F1 or the LM.

I fully anticipate having to explain, 30 years from now, why the F1 is awesome, even though it's barely faster than the 2025 Challamaro.

With a $2 million fugly Aston Martin in existence, this seems like a bargain.
