The optional Uphill certainly seprated the (wo)men from the boys for the ALMS weekend at Lime Rock.
Simona De Silvestro showed the girls knew a better way around the track.
She hit that turn right all day long, she was on the power prior to hitting the first apex and launched up the hill, she was hitting the next gear 30+ feet before everyone else.

To be honest I think the line the car in front of you took was better. I prefer to go wide in the middle of big ben and then turn in to get a better run down to the left hander. At the left hander I like staying all the way to the right (aiming for the bathrooms in front of you in the paddock) and then turning in late to get a very easy set up for the right hander. This is especially important for high hp rwd cars as it's easier to spin taking your line.
Other than that you looked good and your steering input looked pretty smooth. I like lime rock a lot but i start to get nauseous if I do too many laps. Needs more left, haha.
@Jake Camitta: Yeah, I concentrate to much on entry into both corners on big bend and forget the middle. Wish I'd picked a lap with a more aggresive entry into the downhill too.
@Wes Siler: It's especially tough to learn a circuit well when it's only 1 day (I'm assuming that it wasn't a 2 day school). I did the Skip 1 day at lime rock a few years back and had a blast but I didn't really learn the course until I started doing HPDE's there. You pretty much loose the first 2 sessions on track to just figuring out how the car behaves in each corner and getting a basic idea of the line.
Then when you watch the video later on and say to yourself, "I shouldn't have braked so much before that turn" or "Why did I turn in so early there?" The most effective learning tool is watching the video of the first day before the second day to get a good idea of what to fix.
Here's a slightly funny video of me driving at limerock in my 05 STi. You can see how far I go out to the edge in big bend... and then some. My steering wasn't so smooth but I didn't really know how to deal with understeer back then. You can't see very well but you get the point (also, ignore the stupid text).
I can't figure out how to embed video so here's a link.
This comment conjures memories of meeting my childhood hero, Chuck Yeager. I grew up in the High Desert of Southern California, not far from Edwards AFB (and Willow, for that matter). I had the opportunity to shoot the sh*t with him at some length when I was a teenage hoon with dreams of becoming a test pilot.
One of the questions I asked him was how he knew he was really putting an airframe through its paces. His reply was classic, "If I'm up there testin' some new hot rod and don't get to the verge of blackin' out, I know I'm not givin' Uncle Sam his moneys worth."
I was lucky enough to take the 3 day course at Road America. What a fantastic experience! I was able to directly apply to experience to racing in Lemons, and I fully look forward to applying it elsewhere!
I HIGHLY recommend the class - it was way too fun! And like Wes said, they treat you like adults, not kids.
Personal experience - didn't feel much understeer, but did manage to get myself in the gravel once in the carousel! #jalopnikvsgm
I am really hard pressed to decide who to cheer on. On the one hand, I'm a die hard GM man, and would love for Maximum Bob to give the world a show, but on the other hand I'm a die-hard Jalop fan, and it would be fun to see Bob get trounced by Wes and his ass. I'm torn, I'll have to make a shirt with one half Bob, one half Wes, and just watch the show.
Still, good PR for both parties involved. #jalopnikvsgm

Here is my racing advice in one sentance:
Foot to the floor until you see God, then brake.
easy.

The concept behind the traction pie is pretty useful. Great for motorcycle education, actually.
