Sweet. When I look at that car, this is what I hear in my head:

So that's Karl, sitting in that cheapass lawn chair? When he could be sitting in the Devil's own Pace Car?

I was never a huge fan of this car in every color iteration I've seen. But that was until now, when the absence of color makes this just so awesome.

If it was mine, I'd call it "Nevermore". For surely, were I to take the wheel, I'd never see my loved ones again.

And yes, DO WANT. And in black, yes, of course. Almost makes me wish I still smoked. But it would have to be Winstons. I hate Marlboros.

One thing that I adore on this car is that it has flared wheelarches. An Audi R15 has no flared wheelarches. To go the fastest, to cut the cleanest line of air, a car doesn't have to bulge out at the wheels. But to widen the car from a plain-jane MC12, they didn't want to ruin the lines and stretch out the body, so they just tacked on some extra carbon fiber and looked at their new creation, a Maserati racer, fit for 223 miles an hour - Le Mans in a 956 speed - and took the same approach of a Hakosuka Skyline, of a Monte Carlo Mini, of every souped-up road-to-racer set of wheels from the 1970s. That there are flared wheelarches on a Maserati MC12 Corsa drives my mind to madness, sweet madness.

Driving that on the street? I'm moderately impressed. But if he pulls a Harley Earl and makes it his daily driver (a la X-Job), he is my new hero. And if he takes it out in the snow, coolest guy ever.

@c0de DEMANDS layabout's return: Eh, that's kinda up to the driver now, isn't it? Most of us go an entire winter without hitting anything (albeit in less powerful and more likely FWD cars).

@Jakooboo: I've never used chains. Winter tires work plenty well. I'm sure if you've got the money to use one of these on the road, you've got the money to make a set work on one of these.

Awesome car, I have always loved the MC12 despite my DEEP hate to elitist supercars like the Enzo. unlike that, you won't get an MC12 unless if you know what it is ! thus no wankers who just want to drive a red ferrari everyone knows.

The Corsa however, is a whole different world, Karl is my new hero...well not quite, he smokes marlboros, and everyone knows a real petrol head smokes nothing but Gitanes Brunes (or Davidoff Magnum)
