After I bought one for $700 last year, I realized that the combination of power, better-than-expected handling, drivetrain reliability (by American standards, anyway), and profound lack of resale value made it an ideal LeMons candidate.
By the way, does this mean that Ford actually went for the nonsorship package? If so, that's pretty damn cool.
In a future race, once nonsorship catches on with the others, someone's going to field a Ch------ S-----g and, by virtue of great driving, the luck of the Irish, and twenty parts cars, win the entire thing.
And there goes the one thing that car would have ever won in its life.
I wonder if they'll continue this practice from now on? I might be able to make it to Connecticut and wouldn't mind watching a couple of good F---s out on the track
