This absolutely will NOT be the smallest Land Rover ever - the short wheelbase Series I was only 11 feet long! The concept doesn't look remotely "itty-bitty baby" unless those are 15-inch wheels.
"'wheel-at-each-corner' stance."
Apart from 2 feet of curved bonnet and grille poking past the front wheels.
Partially recyclable? That thing should be instantly recycled. It is both uglier and less useful than a BMW X6. Normally I'm a staunch defender of tall wagons (softroaders/SUVs) but this thing is just an absurd exercise in extreme douchery.
This will be perfect for everyone who has been looking for the poor driving dynamics of an SUV with the inconvenient size of a coupe for the price of a large luxury car. I'll take two.
@trx0x: Because with rear seats the vehicle is meant to transport people... not cargo, therefore it is not commercial. Secondly, to the best of my knowledge, the "chicken tax" only applies to Europe, not the UK.
About time Tata started doing what Ford should have done long ago. Merge Jaguar with Land Rover properly. At least on the manufacturing side. Get Aston to play along too.
@Bullitt417: Prodrive just leads their consortium and helps out in the product development work. Financially it's actually "owned" by a bunch of Kuwaiti investment companies.
@Syrax: Drove past the place the other day, literal next door neighbours now. Since both parties split with Ford they've had to split the development buildings too. I think they still share the Gaydon test track mind you.

@englishwhitetrash: doesn't deserve a star: They do. I was actually in England-land last month for a project at JLR in Gaydon. It was fun watching all the AM and Jaguar prototypes scream around the track at high speed.
