The Tesla Roadster can make a sprint to 62 MPH in 3.9 seconds, and they've produced over 900 cars.
carbon fibre is used extensively to compliment the exterior theme
("Exterior theme, you look marvellous" - Lotus means "complement"). The Tesla Roadster is the cheapest car with all carbon fiber panels, and looks better.
$75,000 is a lot cheaper than $109,000, but Lotus special editions make the Tesla seem almost reasonable as a sports car. Go USA! #lotusexigescura

They are supposedly only making 50 of these 260s for the US market (so they tell us dealers!), so you still have he cachet of owning a very rare and collectible vehicle that is totally street legal. The car sells in the US market for $78K and some change.
However, this special edition certainly takes the cake for best seats. These things are to die for... with luck they are HANS compatible.
You hit the nail on the head about how owners never drive their cars... it is a shame that these legendary track monsters never get driven more. I suppose it is the price one pays for making the car difficult to get in and out of. #lotusexigescura
