If he was going for a weight record why didn't he just CF a Series 1 that's already just 720 kg? Earned himself a headline, though.

This is sort of like increasing the displacement on a Viper or revving the S2000's engine another 2,000 or 3,000 rpms higher:

An exercise in strengthening a strength that does not really need to be strengthened anymore.

You know, I drove one of these things for the site recently, and I also found myself needing to save 66-88 pounds.

    So I threw Wes out.

With that matte looking finish it almost looks like the car is fuzzy.

    one may even say....Fur Elise?

Looks fuzzy to me, too. Might want to brush the hair out of my eyes first, though.

Looks more like an applique of carbon fiber over the original body work to me. Examine the radius on the edge of the lateral vents in the front bumper, and the fit of the removable top. If it isn't applied, then the tolerances at his carbon fiber fabrication shop suck badly.

    Can you? Sure.

    Should you?

Well, if you have the money, why not. It's called a free-ish market economy. Sorta (The China thing derails that analogy)

@Schm-san, is down with O.P.P.: Hong Kong was just ranked #1 in the Index of Economic Freedom by WSJ. The US was 6th. Behind Singapore, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand.

Now if they shoehorned in a LSx then it'd be worth it.. the biggest problem with this car isn't weight.. it's lack of power.

This is much like putting Lindsy Lohan in a schoolgirl outfit and giving her a lollipop. How much more of a whore do you need her to be? This is already a great car, it doesn't need to be greater-erierd
