    I picture it rolling. You see the truck coming up behind you and then it passes you--you veer out of the road and wake up in a ditch with a story no cop will believe.


    You come up on what seems to be an amazing old finned classic. You pass--slowly--to get a look. Wait, is it being towed? Wait--WTF??!! And you veer off the road and into a ditch and wake up in a ditch with a story no cop will believe.

    THe only way I can explain this (other than some serious drug abuse that it would not be possible to live through) is that during this guy's childhood he was run over and then dragged for miles by a Lincoln... and after years of rehabilitation this is his way at getting back at that very car.

    In my insurance career, I've seen some bad stuff. People, and their livelyhoods, wiped out by fire, flood, mudslides, toxic spills, boiler explosions, vermin infestation, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, sinkhole collapse, mine subsidence, toxic mold, car crashes, plane crashes, train wrecks and loss of consortium. Through it all, I've clung to the hope that there's something bigger and wiser than us guiding the universe. When I've had doubt, I just figured that my moderatly evolved monkey brain was too limited to see the big picture.


    But now....after seeing this vehicular nightmare...I don't believe in nothin' no more. There is no God. Only darkness.
