Better still? The "Ecto Cooler" green color.

The vehicle itself is not a an IS-F, but rather an IS convertible with an IS-F body and twin-turbos. It's unclear at the time which of the IS family's line of engines this particular model will get, but we're holding out for a screaming V8 — otherwise that rollbar isn't going to get much work. Expect to see this vehicle at the next SEMA in non-rendered format. [via TRMTuned]

<![CDATA[Lexus IS Convertible Spied Testing in Germany?]]> One of the posters at Club Lexus managed to get their hands on a scan from some unknown German magazine with a shot of what is purported to be a Lexus IS convertible in light camouflage. The claimed horsepower numbers range from 177 to 423 horsepower, which covers the IS from the entry-level diesel (in Europe) to the Lexus IS-F. larger version of what could be a hardtop convertible Lexus IS below the jump.

It makes sense, given that there's an Audi A4, BWM 3-series and Mercedes C-Class convertible. Why not an IS?

<![CDATA[Detroit Auto Show: Lexus Convertible Concept?]]> Lexus%20convertible%20Concept.jpgAutoSpies.com has lived up to their name this evening and they've got pics of a heretofore unknown Lexus convertible concept posted up. After huddling up for a minute, the best minds Jalopnik have to offer must admit that we have nothing on this car. Is it the production version of the LF-A Convertible we saw at pebble beach, the LF-C? Is it a one off superlux concept? We don't know, but stay tuned for more as we dig into this story. At the very least, we'll be bringing it to you live as soon as is humanly possible.
