"Yes, because any time we see a Chinese restaurant offering Swedish meatballs, we think we're getting the heights of culinary delight."

I just thought of a new food idea... take the Swedish meatballs, coat them with batter, deep fry them, cover them with that orange sweet and sour sauce and serve...

    Mmmmm.... #geely

For overall sales numbers, it could be an amazing possibility for Geely. "American" brand names have quite a following in China.
As long as Volvo maintains the same quality and style, the ownership doesnt bother me too much. I'd rather Ford held it but if they are honest about Geely and not doing this for the oversize novelty check then I'll be ok with it.

@McKeystone: The cosmic white is lovely, though only as the R-design. I couldn't justify the cost of the R-design, so I've got a plain black T5-- light colored C30s need the color matched bodykit of the R-design. Black C30s can do fine with the black textured plastic bodykit

And the basic wheels. I wanted to keep my costs down #geely

@LTDScott: You joke, but I ordered a cargo cover from Volvo. When I opened the box, it smelt like Ikea. #geely

While I appreciate the point you're trying to make-- that Volvo's already been deSweded to some degree or another by Ford-- I think it's maybe a little crazy to suggest that Geely and Ford are basicly equivalent.

@Ray Wert: If you were speaking metaphorically, I stand by my point.

If you were literally comparing Swedish meatballs at a Chinese restaurant to Swedish meatballs at Denny's (which coincidentally became available the same time Ford bought Volvo?), then I can really only ask why you're going to Denny's at all.

Though, I suppose you guys are deprived of Waffle House, so that might explain it. #geely
