So my dream of putting an SBC where the back seat of a J-body belongs (like guys did to Corvairs in the 60's) isn't entirely loony?I mean, I expect it's still a little loony, and wouldn't have it any other way, but still. #lazareth
And when he thuth had thpoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazareth, come forth.
And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclotheth: and his fathe wath bound about with a napkin. Jethuth thaith unto them, Loothe him, and let him go. Then many of the Jewth which came to Mary, and had theen the thingth which Jethuth did, believed on him. #lazareth
If you've gone that far in making a custom car (rear/mid engine, trick suspension, tube frame) why the eff would you cover it in a Twingo? In my best attempt at a Clarkson-esque retort, "It's like telling your mates you've are successfully dating Heidi Klum, but she's given you H1N1 and ebola." #lazareth
This is a good idea, but really? A 180 hp 3.5L Range Rover V8? That hardly seems worth the trouble. I mean, the Clio V6 makes a lot more power than that. Wake me when they've adapted the 5.0L Jaguar V8 from the current Rangies. With a supercharger.
Or, if you want to keep things in the family, the 3.8TT from the GT-R would be OK, as long as they gave it a real transmission.
EDIT: Also, don't these guys know that as far as big engines into small cars go, this has already won the Internet?

While this is a truly awesome way to completely waste $283k, I wonder why the BMW V12? Did he just want a V12 quad, or did he wreck his 750iL and felt the need to put the engine in something a little different? I also notice there is no good spot for a license plate in the back, this is an unfortunate oversight.
@cougfan335: Remember the videos of the shifter cart running around the interstate ramps? That wasn't street legal either and it was totally full of awesome.
I would much rather have the STI-ATV. That thing just plain looks cool, and it is powered by an engine with a reputation of kicking ass in rally racing. It also reminds me somewhat of a Halo Mongoose.

The R5 Turbo and the Clio V6 had a bit looks on their side. This one doesn't.
And I guarantee you that it will catch fire within the next minute or so. After all it's french. #lazareth

This Twingo is a day, 6.5L, and 180 hp short.

This thing is likely far more usable than the Tomahawk.
