Germany's Auto-BILD wanted to cast another rumor about an upcoming mini-G Wagen based on the A-Class called the GLG, so they drew up a rendering and slapped it on their front cover. We're not exactly convinced by their work.
Not so much here in the colonies, but everywhere else in the world, the Land Rover Defender is the iconic vehicle to end all iconic vehicles. But, aluminum-on-steel construction and tired diesel engines are finally being put to pasture. Can one of these concepts become a new icon?
Here in Frankfurt, Land Rover just revealed this prototypical new Defender, the DC100 concept. Is it square? Indeed. Does it hearken a new model from the recently coined JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) motors? Yes. Is it what we'll see in 2015? Probably not exactly. But close.
The Land Rover DC100 is intended to be a modern interpretation of the iconic Land Rover Defender. We'll see it in the metallic flesh at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show, but for now, here's the first couple of images. Also, there's some bad news.
