    I never associated white bread with racing.


    And for that matter, I never associated Lamborghini with racing. Nice to see all those ponies being put to work in a socially acceptable fashion, instead of just being paraded around as combination attention magnets and foolishness vents.

    In a effort to consolidate readership, concentrate clicks onto the most popular blogs and save on server costs and thus charge higher advertising premiums, Gawker Inc. has decided to promote more cross-posting in its blogs and eventually consolidate the blogs down to a more manageable and readable number.


    It has been decided that Fleshbot and Jezebel will be consolidated with Jalopnik, whose loyal readers and commenters are huge fans of (mechanical) porn and celebrities (mainly Megan Fox and Charlize Theron). There was also a discussion whether Gizmodo could be incorporated, but the robogasmic enthusiasm from Jalopnik will likely be short-lived after the Tranformers films are completed.

    @Mobius_1: Any site that is as goofily in-love with Apple as Gizmodo shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Jalop.


    Apple is the anti-Jalop of computers. No touching, no tweaking, DEFINITELY no hacking or hooning. Just use our computer the way we say to. Bastards.

    @Flathead Smith:The math for a V-10 doesn't really work out very well and therefore are not particularly very smooth engines. Basically there is a power pulse every 72 degrees and will not run smoothly unless the cylinder banks are at this angle (unless the engineers resort to balance shafts which rob power). The Viper V-10 has an angle between the cylinder of 90 degrees and to me does not sound right and is kind of a rough running engine. It is my understanding that the Italians and others do use 72 ° between the cylinders, but I still don't like it. I think a V-8 and a V-12 sound much better and make more sense from an engineering standpoint.
